Technical Seminar on the use of ammonia as marine fuel

Held at IMO Headquarters on 17 September 2026 in hybrid format, the seminar was organized by the Future Fuels and Technology Project to enhance understanding and share the latest developments in ammonia production for marine fuels, bunkering, onboard applications, engine technologies, environmental and safety considerations, ammonia effluents management and ongoing initiatives related to ammonia-fueled vessels.
