Information Portal
The Future Fuels and Technology information portal, launched in April 2024, has been developed to share the latest developments on zero and near-zero marine fuels and technologies. It is designed to accelerate access to up-to-date information on the shipping energy transition for developing States and showcase opportunities to engage in a just and equitable transition.
The portal is regularly updated and has been developed thanks to the collaboration of over 24 data providers. The main focus is to provide:
- statistics and latest information, including on the uptake of zero and near-zero marine fuels and technologies, port/bunkering infrastructures and fuel prices;
- detailed information on the state of play on supply and uptake of alternative marine fuels, as well as information on emerging technologies aimed at reducing GHG emissions from shipping; and
- learning resources, including tools, publications and training materials.
