Technical Seminar on Onboard Carbon Capture and Storage Systems

The Future Fuels and Technology Project will host a one-day Technical Seminar on Onboard Carbon Capture and Storage (OCCS) Systems, a technical solution with the potential to reduce shipping’s greenhouse gas emissions.

Participants in the seminar will gain a deeper understanding of the state of play of OCCS systems from speakers presenting diverse topics, including:

• Practical experiences from existing onboard projects
• Development of the OCCS value chain
• Alternative carbon capture technologies
• The role of OCCS within the broader context of the shipping industry
