The Future Fuels and Technology Project together with the Transport and Logistics Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China is hosting a half-day seminar on the Energy Transition of Shipping during the upcoming Hong Kong Maritime Week.

The seminar will bring together stakeholders from across the sector to highlight the potential of industry collaboration to promote the energy transition of shipping through presentations and panel sessions.

Key topics:

  • Hong Kong’s role in driving sustainable and innovative global shipping and trade
  • IMO’s global actions promoting zero and near-zero marine fuels and technologies
  • Building the ecosystem for green transition of the shipping industry
  • Ensuring availability of zero/near-zero fuels to support the energy transition of shipping
